Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal receives Top Honours at Architects Awards
Trinity Wharf’s new $11 million Cruise Ship terminal was judged the winner at the Far North Queensland Regional Architecture Awards on Friday 13th May, 2011.
The Eddie Oribin Award for Building of the Year was presented to both Arkhefield and Total Project Group for their combined efforts in Architectural design. The Cairns Cruise Liner terminal project included the challenge of restoring the Heritage-Listed Trinity Wharf shed into a contemporary and functional point of entry for International visitors, whilst maintaining the buildings integrity and cultural significance.
MGF Consultants are proud to have been involved in such an important project to the City of Cairns and offer our best congratulations to the Architects on their achievement.
